Hi, I’m Anna—a mum of three with a passion for travel. In early 2024, my husband and I took a leap, sold nearly everything, and set off to explore the world with our kids. Q. What is an ITA? An Independent Travel Agent (ITA) is someone who books travel for themselves, friends, family, and clients, earning commission on each booking. Rather than letting travel websites or hotels keep those commission fees, ITAs earn them directly!
Q. Am I restricted on the types of travel I can book? Absolutely not! As an ITA, you’ll have access to hundreds of travel partners and can book hotels, flights, cruises, car rentals, package holidays, tickets to events, and more. Plus, with your IATA license, you can connect directly with hotels and tourism companies worldwide for exclusive perks and rates.
Q. How much does it cost to get started? To become an Independent Travel Agent, there’s a one-time fee of £142, which includes your IATA license and your first month’s subscription. After that, it’s £32 per month, covering access to booking systems, training, and customer support—equivalent to just £1.05 a day to start your own part-time travel business! If you’d like to unlock the marketing side of the business as well—allowing you to refer others to the opportunity and earn passive income—the one-time fee is £156, followed by £46 per month.
Q. What kind of training and support will I receive? You’ll have access to online training videos that you can watch at your own pace, as well as weekly onboarding calls to help you get started. You’ll also be part of a supportive ITA community where we share tips, advice, and encouragement. And I’ll be here to guide you every step of the way!
Q. Is there a minimum sales target I need to meet each month? Nope! There are no monthly sales targets or quotas, so you can work at your own pace and set your own goals. This opportunity is designed to fit around your lifestyle and commitments.
Q. I have a full-time job. Will this work for me? Yes! Many ITAs work around full-time jobs and family commitments. There are teachers, lawyers, dentists, nurses and office workers in the team. You’re free to book just for yourself or for friends and family, and there’s no pressure to meet targets. You can fit this into your life however it works best for you.
Q. Can I refer friends and family to this opportunity? Of course, and I highly recommend it! This is a separate business opportunity that opens up more revenue streams. Not only can you earn commissions on travel bookings, but you can also earn by referring others to join the travel business. This adds more income potential and flexibility—something I took advantage of, and I’d definitely recommend you consider both options!
Q. What if I change my mind? You’re free to stop at any time—there’s no contract or minimum term. If you decide within the first 30 days that it’s not for you, you get a 30 day full money back guarantee. After the first month, you can cancel at anytime and payments stop immediately.
Q. Do I need a big social media following? Not at all! Many ITAs earn commissions simply by booking for themselves, friends, and family through word of mouth. Social media is optional.
